ALEOOOP Summer 2024 Safety Guidelines

ALEOOOP will be following the same guidelines and protocols as the Allendale  BOE, that  are current for July 2024.  In the event that guidelines change, we will modify accordingly.

Please note that these outdoor areas at Crestwood Park, in particular the Crestwood Park Playground, will not be for the exclusive use of ALEOOOP. All members and residents who come to the Crestwood Park will be expected to follow all   rules set in place by Allendale Borough and Crestwood Lake management.

Questions and Answers for the 2024 Summer Program

What would the daily schedule be?

Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 2:00pm

Session 1: July 1st – July 12th  (closed on 4th)                              Session 2: July 15th to July 26th 

*Theater will run July 1-25, 1.30-4.00pm (closed on 4th)

Will the children and staff be required to wear face coverings or masks?

Masks will NOT be required by staff or children.  However they are completely optional if you a or your child are more comfortable with them wearing one.  Masks will NOT be allowed in the water when swimming.

What if a staff member or camper is symptomatic for Covid-19 or tests positive for Covid-19?

We will be strictly adhering to the guidelines that the Allendale BOE follow.  If ALEOOOP becomes aware that an individual tests positive for COVID-19, we will immediately follow those protocols while maintaining confidentiality.  If you have concerns or questions you can speak to the onsite nurse on the first day of the program. 

Will lunch and snacks be permitted this year?

YES – please provide lunch, a snack and plenty of water!!    

 We are unable to provide refunds for any reason, including COVID and weather related cancellations or missed days.
